A backlink is a link which a blog or website gets from other blogs or websites or social media due to his popularity. Everyone speaks about a popular person, place or thing. Far example; a popular football player made a website. A lot of people speaks about him. About his career, about his performance, his techniques and experience. Or a popular or a natural beauty place like Switzerland or any other. Then everyone speaks about it. Praises its natural beauty, writes articles about it. In the same, people also writes articles about this person or place on the internet too. Google gives high rank to the posts of those blogs or websites which are created by a popular person or about a popular place or thing or niche means topic. These links make naturally. This is called off page search engine optimization too. This the most important factor of SEO. Google listings depends upon backlinks. For example; There is an eight years old famous website which has ten thousands backlinks but a newly created website got eight thousand and two backlinks then that new website will get higher rank than the old one.
I am not popular. How i rank my website:
A lot of people who want to make a career in Internet and earn through his website or blog but when he makes a website. He does not get as much views as he wants. For example; someone goes to a doctor for treatment but when he reaches there is already a big crowd of patients people. And the doctor advises all the people to stand in a queue. Then he calls the calls the first person but he has taken the number before all the people. Then the second person and third and so on. But you are the eighteenth in number. Then you should wait for sometime. But in meantime a patient reaches who is more serious and in critical condition. Then the doctor will leave all the existing patients and start the new comer serious patient.
Similarly, if you are not popular you should be wait and stand in a queue like that and work hard. Share your posts and articles on the social media like Google+ and Facebook etc. Use Google keyword planner for choosing proper keywords for your posts. Index and crawl your website and all its posts or Articles in Google webmaster (Google search console). You can also promote your website through Google Adwords by spending some money. Then slowly you will get the popularity and will also get the backlinks too. The people will start writing about your website. Thus at last you will the highest rank and your website will show on the first page of the search results.
Manual backling:
When you make a website then a lot of companies will offer you that they will rank your website by giving them only 5 dollars or 10 ten dollars. But you should avoid these things because it is prohibited by Google and all search engines.
